Laura grew up in Oxted, her parents now live in Downe. She was formerly Head of Strategic Communications in Government under David Cameron. She was the first in her family to go to university, and is an ambassador for the Sutton Trust, which supports young people of similar backgrounds to her own. Since leaving Government, Laura has been a partner at Portland Communications, and a frequent face on the BBC and Sky. Laura is a mum to three children, 1 year old twin boys and a 4 year old girl, and her husband is a partner at PWC.
