Julia Thornton - Seal & Weald

Julia has lived all but 9 of her 43 years within 5 miles of central Sevenoaks. She was born in Sevenoaks Hospital and educated in the town.

After attaining her B.A.(Hons.) degree in Management from Hull University, Julia embarked on a successful 19 year career in Marketing Management on products and services as diverse as toiletries, mobile phones and IT outsourcing.

In 2008, seeking a move away from the rat race and daily commute, Julia set up her own business offering dog walking, pet feeding and home help services. She now happily spends her days romping through the woods and footpaths of Sevenoaks with her four legged friends, come rain, deep snow or shine!

A stalwart supporter of Sevenoaks Rugby Club for the past 20 years, Julia is now seeking to give something back into the wider community of Sevenoaks. She is looking forward to getting involved in serving the District that has served her so well over the years and striving to preserve its unique essence for generations to come.
