John Grint - Halstead, Knockholt & Badgers Mount

John has lived in Badgers Mount for many years. He is married with 2 daughters, and has represented the ward of Halstead, Knockholt & Badgers Mount on Sevenoaks District Council since 2007.

Within SDC he has been heavily involved with committees overseeing the finances and performance of the Council, using his professional experience as a Chartered Accountant and Finance Director. As the financial pressures on the council have increased John has played his part in ensuring SDC maintains its reputation as an efficient and high-performing council.

He also takes a strong interest in building development and planning issues, both locally and across Sevenoaks as a whole, and continues to do my utmost to promote high-quality decision making on planning applications affecting the community which he represents.
