Sevenoaks District Council retains its Platinum Investors in People Award

Investors in People is an organisation that leads the drive for better leadership and better workplaces.  It is an independent, not for profit company that assesses thousands of organisations every three years, and recognises those that lead, support and manage people well, for sustainable results.

Leader of Sevenoaks District Council, Cllr Peter Fleming says: "We are thrilled to have retained Platinum status. This achievement is not just about being a great place to work, but it shows our staff have the strong focus and determination to continue to deliver the high-quality, value for money services that our residents deserve. The report highlights the creativity and innovation of the council with our focus on delivering continuous improvement and improving customer service across the organisation.  We are justly proud of our weekly rubbish and recycling collections; the only District in Kent to do so!"

Dr Pav Ramewal, Chief Executive of Sevenoaks District Council adds: "Retaining Platinum is incredibly important to us and keeps us in a small group of elite organisations. It helps us to stand out as an employer and continues to drive us forward to make this an even better place to work."
