Despite the (at times) heavy rain, Dunton Green and RIverhead members and Conservative friends, braved the elements for the annual summer garden party. Some of the earlier arrivals are pictured during a lull in the rain.
There was a fantastic turnout at the Crockham Hill Summer Drinks Party. Sir Michael Fallon was in attendance and spent a very long time answering questions on the recent election. It was a good afternoon enjoyed by one and all.
16 members of Sevenoaks Conservative Association spent an evening making phone calls in support of Conservative candidates Caroline Ansell in Eastbourne and Julie Marson in Dagenham and Rainham. Approximately 600 calls were made in total and there was a fabulous reaction from voters.
Last Tuesday our Association office was transformed into an 8 seat call centre, contacting voters all over the Country in key target seats, such as Hastings and Rye, to help return a strong Conservative Government (click on the heading for the story)
Following the Kent County Council elections on 4 May 2017, counting took place on 5 May, when (see picture left to right) Roger Gough, Margaret Crabtree, Michael Horwood, Nick Chard and David Brazier were all successfully elected
A petition was launched against the closure of the New Ash Green branch of Lloyds Bank, the closure of which will lead to the village being left without a single bank and have a profoundly negative impact on businesses located in the Shopping Centre.
Many local members were pounding the streets over the weekend for the Conservative Kent County Council candidates David Brazier, Nick Chard, Margaret Crabtree, Roger Gough and Michael Horwood over the sunny weekend.
