On Friday 22nd March, the Sevenoaks Conservative Association held its annual general meeting at the Sevenoaks Town Council offices.

The event was attended by Sir Michael Fallon, MP and Matthew Scott, Kent Police and Crime Commissioner.

We are all sorry that Polly Furse has resigned as Chair of the Sevenoaks Conservative Association.  At the Executive Council meeting last Friday I thanked her for her work. I updated members fully on the Brexit negotiations and voting.

Interim Association Chair

It's with great pleasure that we announce that Cllr Anna Firth is now the interim Chair of Sevenoaks Conservative Association following the resignation of Mrs Polly Furse. We appreciate everything that Polly brought to the team and would like to warmly thank her for all her hard work. We fully respect her right to explore other political avenues and wish her every success in the future.

We'd like to congratulate Anna on becoming interim Chair and wish her all the best. It is also with great pleasure that we announce that Mrs Dee Morris is now interim Deputy Chair Political & Campaigning. We also wish her every success.

The Executive Council will meet in due course to appoint a new Chair and a new Deputy Chair Political & Campaigning.

Justine Greening comes to Eynsford

At the first joint Dartford and Sevenoaks event, we were very pleased to welcome Justine Greening to the Castle in Eynsford. A packed room listened to Justine speak about the current political situation and how important the forthcoming local elections in London were going to be.
