Conservatives Win Hextable By-Election
The Conservative Party has won the Hextable by-election, with local resident Lee Allen elected to represent the ward.
The result marks a significant victory for the Conservatives and reflects strong support from residents for a local candidate focused on the issues that matter most to the community.
The campaign centred on protecting the future of the Hextable Secondary School site, alongside wider concerns about local representation and ensuring the area has a councillor who lives in and understands the community.
Lee Allen said:
“I am incredibly grateful to the residents of Hextable for putting their trust in me. I stood in this election to be a strong, local voice for our community, and I will work hard every day to represent residents and stand up for the issues that matter to them.”
The campaign highlighted concerns that other candidates did not live locally, with the Conservatives emphasising the importance of having a councillor who is rooted in the community.
