Swanley Town Council By-election 19 January
There will be a by-election for the Christchurch ward of Swanley Town Council on Thursday 19 July. The Conservative Candidate is Albert Venter.
Albert lives in St Georges Road in the Christchurch ward of Swanley and is married with two young children, his wife is a social worker. He recently became involved with local politics when he joined the successful campaign against the inappropriate siting of a telephone mast in the ward.
Albert has a broad IT knowledge of the Finance sector, specialising in Foreign Exchange & Payment Settlements as well as performing key IT Quality Assurance roles on large multi-million pound Central Government IT projects such as Contact Point within the former Department of Children, Schools & Families.
Albert’s professional qualifications in both The Association of project Managers (APMP) and Prince2, places him in an excellent position to assist in supporting and managing key local town project decisions and future town investment within our Swanley community.
