A message from Merrill London - Chairman of the Sevenoaks Conservative Association

"It's my pleasure to welcome you to the website of Sevenoaks Conservative Association. The Chairman's position is a voluntary one and I and my fellow officers of the management team are elected to office at the Annual General Meeting.

The role of our Association is to raise funds locally within our parlimentary constituency and to use our resources of volunteers and money to promote Conservatism. This means communicating with the electorate in support of Conservative Candidates who seek to become Councillors for the Town, District or County and Members for both the Westminster and European Parliaments.

We are proud to be able to state that we have a Conservative Member of Parliament, Michael Fallon, and Conservative councillors are in the majority at Sevenoaks Town Council and at the Sevenoaks District and Kent County Councils. The South East of England is represented by four Conservative Members of the European Parliament which means we are the majority party in the region.

In addition to providing general information about the Sevenoaks Association , the purpose of the website is to stimulate interest in the Conservative Party and I hope it will encourage you to make contact with me or anyone else in the party locally. We are always pleased to welcome new members or anyone who wishes to assist in the promotion of Conservatism".
